Class #12 Education

Do you agree with the writer Minae Mizumura (“The Fall of Japanese in the Age of English”) when she says that”, “the dominance of English, especially with the advent of the Internet, threatens to reduce all other national languages to mere “local” languages that are not taken seriously by scholars. The education system, she argues, doesn't spend enough time teaching Japanese.”Why? Give at least 3 reasons to support your answer.

I agree with the writer Minae Mizumura.

First, An application of the education at ease(ゆとり教育).
Study hours decreased by the application of this system. I think Japanese should perform the fundamental learning better. And I think that it is one method to give homework. There is hardly homework in Japan.

Second, An application of the English early education.
There is the person who begins English learning since before having entered the elementary school. So that, Power begins learning more English than the Japanese. Therefore it is not spent in time by Japanese learning. In my opinion, At first Japanese should learn a native language than the foreign language well.

Third, The digitization of the sentences such as a mobile telephone or the PC.
The exchanges by the email increased by the spread of mobile telephones in particular. It decreases to write a letter by letters oneself with this. And it is a fall of the ability for kanji(漢字). It decreases to really write a letter in the reality.
